Yes/No Tarot has no accounts and no database. Your readings stay in your browser. Here is exactly what that means.

What we do not collect
This site is a static web app with no user accounts, no login, no newsletter signup, and no server-side database of users. We never receive the question you type into a reading, the cards you draw, or your reading history. None of it is transmitted off your device.
What is stored on your device
The app uses your browser's local storage, which is readable only by this site and only on that device. It holds two things:
- ✦Your reading history — the cards drawn, the spread used, the question you typed if you entered one, and a timestamp. This is what the History page reads.
- ✦Your language preference, so the site opens in English or Spanish next time.
How to delete it
Clearing your browser's site data for this site erases your entire reading history and language preference permanently. You can also use your browser's private or incognito mode, in which nothing persists after you close the window. Because this data never reaches us, we cannot delete it for you — and we also cannot recover it if you clear it.
Analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages people find useful. It is cookieless, does not fingerprint visitors, does not track you across other websites, and reports only aggregate figures such as page views, referrers, country, and page load speed.
Our host, Cloudflare, also processes standard web server information in order to serve the site and protect it from attacks. That includes your IP address, browser user agent, and which page you requested. This is ordinary server logging, required to deliver any website, and is retained by Cloudflare under their own privacy terms.
Advertising
This site is free and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdSense, a third-party advertising service. Google and its partners may set or read cookies on your device to measure ad performance and, depending on your settings and region, to show ads relevant to your interests.
You have direct control over this. You can turn off personalised advertising in Google's own settings at adssettings.google.com, and you can opt out of third-party ad cookies at aboutads.info. Blocking these cookies does not prevent you from using the site — every reading, card meaning, and guide works the same either way.
In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, advertising cookies that are not strictly necessary are set only where consent is required and obtained.
Offline caching
The site registers a service worker so it keeps working without a connection. This stores copies of pages, images, and fonts in your browser's cache. It contains only the site's own public files — never your readings — and is cleared along with your browser site data.

Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. Since we collect no personal information from anyone, there is nothing for us to remove, but if you have a concern please write to us.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that affects what is collected or who receives it, the date at the top of this page will be updated. Because we hold no contact details, we cannot notify you directly, so the current version always lives at this URL.
